INGREDIENTS
2 tbsp (30ml) vegetable oil
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, finely minced
1 tray (500g) lean beef mince
2 tbsp (30ml) tomato paste
1 tbsp (15ml) paprika
2 tbsp (30ml) dried herbs
½ cup (125ml) beef stock
1 jar (400g) tomato pasta sauce
Handful fresh chopped parsley
1 jar (125ml) Purity Vegetable & Beef
1 jar (125ml) Purity Mixed Vegetables
Serving Suggestion:

METHOD
1. Heat vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the onion and sauté until softened and translucent. Add the garlic and cook for a further 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
2. Add the beef mince and fry until browned and fully cooked.
3. Add the tomato paste, herbs and spices, stir well and cook for 1-2 minutes.
4. Pour in the beef stock or water, stir well, scraping off any flavourful bits from the bottom of the pot.
5. Add the tomato pasta sauce and stir to combine. Season with salt and pepper and allow to simmer and reduce gently for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened.
6. Stir through fresh parsley just before serving.
7. For the baby, remove one portion, add it to a small pan over a low heat. Add 1 jar Purity Beef and Vegetable and 1 jay Purity Mixed Vegetable and stir to combine.
8. Warm gently for a few minutes, stirring occasionally until heated through.
9. Serve the Purity bolognese for the baby and serve plain bolognese for the rest of the family over penne pasta. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and ENJOY!
