5-Ingredient P.S. Blondies

Makes 20

Hands-on time: 10 minutes

Hands-off time: 35 minutes

INGREDIENTS

4 bars (60g each) Cadbury P.S. Duo Caramilk

2 large eggs, room temperature

½ cup (113g) butter, melted

1 cup (200g) light brown sugar

1 cup (125g) cake flour, sieved

METHOD

1. Preheat your oven to 180°C and line a 25cm square baking dish with baking paper.

2. On a clean cutting board, cut the Cadbury P.S. Duo Caramilk into even-sized chunks, about 2cm in size.

3. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, add the eggs, melted butter and light brown sugar and whisk until well combined. *Chef’s Tip: Using brown sugar gives the blondies the perfect gooey consistency.

4. Add ⅔ of the P.S. pieces and the flour to the butter mixture and fold until a blondie batter has formed.

5. Spoon the blondie batter into the lined baking dish and evenly sprinkle over the remaining chopped P.S. pieces.

6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until lightly golden brown and just cooked through. The centre should still be slightly gooey. *Chef’s Tip: Cover the blondies in foil to stop the chopped chocolate from browning too much.

7. Remove the blondies from the oven and allow them to cool for 10-15 minutes before cutting them into 20 even-sized squares. *Chef’s Tip: These blondies make the perfect gift for a loved one!

8. Serve the blondies on a platter and ENJOY!! *Chef’s Tip: These blondies make the perfect gift for a loved one!

Hi. The PS Duo Blondie. Can one use margarine in place of butter?

The cost of butter is just daylight robbery.
