INGREDIENTS

3 ripe bananas
3 pieces Bokomo Weet-Bix Wholegrain Wheat Biscuits Banana Flavoured
1 cup warm milk
2 large eggs
⅓ cup (76g) melted butter
1 tbsp vanilla essence
1 ½ cups self-raising flour
1 tsp baking powder
½ cup milk chocolate chips

Serving suggestion:
Cup of tea/coffee

METHOD

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and line two muffin tins with muffin liners.


2. In a large bowl, mash the bananas until smooth. Crumble the Bokomo Weet-Bix Wholegrain Wheat Biscuits Banana Flavoured Biscuits into the bowl.


3. Add the warm milk, eggs, butter and vanilla essence and whisk until well combined.


4. Add the milk mixture to the banana mixture and allow to stand for 10 minutes.


5. After 10 minutes, mix well and gradually fold in the baking powder, self-raising flour and chocolate chips until the batter is smooth.


6. Fill the prepared muffin liners until ¾ full or about 3 tablespoons.


7. Bake for 25 minutes, or until a skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.


8. Serve warm with a cup of tea or coffee and ENJOY!
