INGREDIENTS

2 cups Ultra Mel Custard Flavoured Dessert Original
2 cups cake flour
1½ Cups Water

SERVING SUGGESTION
Ultra Mel Custard whipped cream & fresh berries
Cinnamon sugar & fresh lemon slices

METHOD

1. Add the Ultra Mel Custard Flavoured Dessert Original, 1 1½ cups water and cake flour to a large mixing bowl. Then, use a hand whisk to beat the mixture until smooth Chef’s tip: strain the batter through a sieve to guarantee its smoothness!

2. Spray a large non-stick pan with non-stick spray and heat it over medium-high heat. Once the pan is hot, add a ladle of batter. Swirl the pan to evenly spread the batter and cook for 2 minutes.

3. Flip the pancake over and cook for an additional 1 minute. Remove the pancake from the pan and place it on a plate. Repeat this process until all the batter is used.

4. Let the pancakes cool for 15 minutes, then fill them with the custard whipped cream. Dust the pancakes with icing sugar, serve with fresh berries and ENJOY! Alternatively, sprinkle the pancakes with cinnamon sugar and serve with a slice of fresh lemon. Chef’s tip: make the whipped cream by folding in 2 parts of whipped cream with 1 part Ultra Mel Custard
