INGREDIENTS

3 tbsp oil

1 large onion, finely sliced

1 cup (250ml) fat-free milk

1 tsp garlic powder

Salt and pepper, optional

2 packets (85g each) MAGGI Cheese Flavoured 2 Minute Noodles


SERVING SUGGESTION:

1 cup broccoli florets, blanched

Chives

METHOD

1. In a large pan, heat the olive oil over low to medium heat. Add the finely sliced onion. Let the onions caramelise slowly for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they turn a deep golden brown and develop a sweet aroma. Reduce the heat to low.


2. Pour in the milk, garlic powder, pinch of salt, pepper and the MAGGI Cheese Flavouring sachets. Let this mixture simmer gently for about 3-5 minutes, allowing the flavours to come together.


3. While the sauce simmers, add the MAGGI Cheese Flavoured 2 Minute Noodles to a bowl of hot water and microwave for 2 minutes.


4. Drain the cooked MAGGI Cheese Flavoured 2 Minute Noodles and add to the pan with the caramelized onion sauce.


5. Stir everything together thoroughly. Remove from the heat.

6. Serve with blanched broccoli and sprinkle generously with freshly chopped chives and ENJOY!
