INGREDIENTS

6 slices Sasko Premium Slices White or Brown Bread

2 tbsp butter or margarine

12 vienna sausages

6 square cheddar cheese slices


SERVING SUGGESTION:

Serve with sauces of choice

METHOD

  1. Spread a little butter on one side of each of the slices of Sasko Premium Slices Bread and place butter side down on a chopping board.

  2. Heat the vienna sausages in the microwave on a microwave-safe plate for 30-60 seconds.

  3. Place a slice of cheese on each slice of bread. Place the warmed sausages horizontally in the centre of the bread slices. Fold the bottom of the bread slice up and over the sausage, forming a foldover parcel.

  4. Toast the bread in a saucepan over medium heat for about 5 minutes, flipping the foldovers halfway, until golden brown and until the cheese has melted. *Chef’s Tip: The foldovers can also be toasted in the air fryer at 180ºC for 10 minutes. This method gives a crispier toast to the foldovers.

  5. Serve warm with a sauce of choice, or pack into lunchboxes for school and ENJOY!
