INGREDIENTS

2 packets (118g each) Oreo Strawberry Crème Flavoured OR Oreo Peanut Butter & Chocolate Flavoured
2 medium eggs
¼ cup milk
1 tsp Royal Baking Powder
⅓ cup Philadelphia Cream Cheese

Serving Suggestions:
Golden syrup
Strawberries, halved

METHOD

1. Choose your favourite Oreo flavour, Oreo Strawberry Crème Flavoured OR Oreo Peanut Butter & Chocolate Flavoured cookies. Separate the sandwich cookies and scrape the cream into a separate bowl.

2. Add the cookies to a resealable bag. Crush gently with a rolling pin until a fine crumb forms.

3. Add ¾ of the crushed cookies, eggs, milk and Royal Baking Powder to a medium-sized mixing bowl. Whisk until the ingredients are well combined. *Chef’s Tip: The addition of the baking powder results in the fluffiest pancake texture!

4. Heat a non-stick pan over medium-high heat.

5. Spoon 2 tablespoons of batter onto the heated pan. Ensure the batter falls in a circular shape. Work in batches so as to not overcrowd the pan. Allow the pancakes to cook until bubbles form throughout the surface. *Chef’s Tip: The pancake is ready to flip when the bubbles start to pop.

6. Flip the pancakes onto the other side after 1-2 minutes of cooking. Remove the batch from the pan when ready and repeat until all the pancake batter is used up.

7. To prepare the creamy filling, add the Philadelphia Cream Cheese to the Oreo sandwich filling set aside earlier.

8. To serve, spoon 1 tablespoon of the cream cheese filling and a sprinkling of crushed Oreos in between each pancake, creating a stack. Complete each stack with a dollop of cream cheese filling and a light sprinkling of crushed Oreo cookies.

9. Serve the pancake stack with a drizzle of syrup, garnished with a strawberry half and ENJOY!
