INGREDIENTS

2 (400g) chicken breasts

1 tsp each, salt and pepper, to season

2 tbsp butter

¼ cup Wellington's Full Flavour Tomato Sauce

¼ cup Wellington's Steakhouse Sauce

2 tbsp white vinegar

10 mini burger buns, sliced & toasted

10 cheddar cheese slices, cut into small squares

10 gherkin slices

¼ cup Wellington's Sweet Jalapeno Sauce

¼ cup Wellington's Mild Chutney

SERVING SUGGESTION:

Cooldrinks & snacks

METHOD

1. On a chopping board, pat the chicken breast dry with paper towel. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper. *Chef’ Tip: Add any other dry seasonings, if preferred.

2. In a small mixing bowl, add the Wellington's Full Flavour Tomato Sauce, Wellington's Steakhouse Sauce, white vinegar and two tablespoons of water. Mix well and set aside until needed.

3. Add the butter to a pan on medium-high heat. Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the pan and lightly brown on each side for about 2-3 minutes.

4. Add the prepared sauce to the pan, lower the heat and cover with a lid. Allow the chicken to simmer in the sauce for 5 minutes, then flip it over, cover and simmer for another 5-6 minutes.

5. Remove the chicken breasts and transfer to a clean chopping board or large plate, reserving the sauce in the pan. Using two forks, shred both chicken breasts, then return the shredded chicken to the pan of sauce. Mix well to achieve a saucy pulled-chicken mixture.

6. Assemble the sliders by filling each toasted mini burger buns with pulled-chicken, a slice of cheese, a teaspoon of Wellington's Sweet Jalapeno Sauce, a gherkin slice, and a teaspoon of Wellington's Mild Chutney.

7. Arrange the sliders on a platter, serve with cooldrinks and snacks and ENJOY!
