INGREDIENTS

8 slices Sasko Premium Slices White Bread

8 slices cheddar cheese

4 tbsp Wellington’s Mild Chutney

4 slices tomato

8 slices red onion

½ bag (62.5g) Simba Smoked Beef Flavour

6 tbsp butter, softened


SERVING SUGGESTION:

Simba Chips, of choice

METHOD

1. Prepare the braai for direct cooking over medium heat (180°C). *Chef’s Tip: Alternatively, make the braaibroodjies on a pan as a toastie!


2. Add 4 slices of cheese to 4 slices of bread. Spread the Wellington’s Mild Chutney and divide the tomato and onion and Simba Chips over the cheese. Top each sandwich with an extra slice of cheese and cover with the remaining slices of bread.


3. Butter both sides of the sandwiches and carefully place it on a braai grid.


4. Place the braai grid over the prepared coals and braai for about 3 minutes on each side until the cheese has melted and the braaibroodjies are golden brown.


5. Slice and serve as the perfect pre-braai snack along with extra Simba Chips and ENJOY!
