INGREDIENTS

Mocktails:

4 cans (300ml each) Schweppes Premium Tangerine Flavoured Drink, chilled

¼ cup (60ml) grenadine syrup

Poptails:

2 cans (300ml each) Schweppes Premium Tangerine Flavoured Drink, chilled

½ cup (125ml) grenadine syrup

2 naartjies

4 Pineapple slices

METHOD

For the mocktails:

1. Prepare the decorative ice by adding a maraschino cherry and naartjie slice to an ice cube mould and fill with water. Allow to freeze overnight. *Chef's tip: For professional-looking ice, boil your water twice (letting it cool in between) before filling your moulds. This removes trapped air, resulting in crystal-clear ice!

2. For the drink garnish, grill the pineapple slices in a griddle pan over high heat to get griddle lines on the pineapple. Set aside.

3. Prepare the naartjie garnish by slicing a fresh naartjie into ultra-thin wheels and set aside. In each highball glass, pack the glasses to the very top with the decorative ice.

4. Fill each glass with about 3 tablespoons of grenadine syrup. Slowly add the Schweppes Premium Tangerine Flavoured Drink.

5. Garnish the drinks with the reserved naartjie slices, maraschino cherries and a slice of grilled pineapple. Do not stir the drink to preserve the gradient and ENJOY!

For the poptails:

6. Fill the 6-hole popsicle moulds ¼ of the way with grenadine syrup. Allow to freeze overnight.

7. Once frozen, fill the popsicle mould with Schweppes Tangerine Flavoured Drink, allowing the fizz to settle for a moment to ensure a solid freeze.

8. Insert the popsicle sticks and freeze for at least 6 hours or until completely solid.

9. Once the popsicles are frozen, place the popsicle mould under running water to remove the popsicles easily. Serve over a bed of ice to keep the colors vibrant and ENJOY!
